This type of iris appears to the gardener in the form of straight cylindrical stems and dense sword-shaped leaves with veining. The leaves do not rise on the stem, but are located near the root rosette. The stem holds the buds, which gradually open with a delicate colour and sweet smell. Hollandica Carmen iris flowers have yellow strokes on the lower row of petals, and the upper ones have amazing tenderness and wavy edges.
