There’s no doubt that this pot and the flourishing plants within it will create a natural and heart-warming environment.  We sculpted her with all our knowledge and love of plants – and the roots of her design can be traced back to the 1800s. FLORA’s simple design accentuates her contents, and is guaranteed to appeal to the keen botanist.

The name FLORA refers to the goddess of the same name, who in Roman mythology was the goddess of all plants, flowers, and fertility. Today, the name is often used to denote plant life in general or in connection with the famous comprehensive 18th-century Danish encyclopedia of botany – the Flora Danica.

When the designer Ninetta Mariani created the Julie Pot, she exclaimed: “It can’t be done simpler than this!” This was in Milan in 1960, and today we can only concur. Perfection is achieved when there is nothing left to take away from a design. In this simple yet charming pot, your plant will always be the centre of attention.
