Virtual Learning: Composting
During the workshop, we'll cover the principles of composting, explore different types of composting, and discuss what can and cannot be composted. There will also be a Q&A session, so bring your questions and let's compost together!

Success with Rhododendrons & Azaleas
Chalet Horticulturist, Jennifer Brennan will teach us the tips for success when working with this acid soil loving group of plants, the Rhododendrons and Azaleas. These are gorgeous flowering shrubs - some evergreen and some that drop their leaves in Winter. Learn the best varieties that are “happy” growing here in our area and the planting techniques, fertilizers to use, and special “tricks” to do to enjoy these plants in your garden.

Sprouts: Bird Feeder Workshop
Attention young nature lovers! Come and join us for a fun-filled workshop where we will make bird feeders and learn about our feathered friends. Our workshop will teach you how to make your very own bird feeder using simple and safe materials provided by Chalet. You can bring your masterpiece home and attract beautiful birds to your backyard. All ages welcome. $16.99 per child. Each child needs to register separately.
