Return Policy

At Chalet, we strive to provide high-quality products and customer satisfaction. If you are not entirely happy with your purchase, you may return your item(s).  Below is our return and refund policy. 

  • Eligibility for Returns + Refunds
    • All returns must be either brought in or postmarked within 14 days of the purchase date or delivery date, whichever is more recent. Items returned after this period will not be accepted or eligible for a refund.
    • If you are returning item(s) purchased in our stores, please bring your receipt. When returning an online purchase, please include the order confirmation emails.
    • Returns without a receipt within 14 days receive store credit at the lowest price offered.
    • Items must be returned in their original condition, unworn, unwashed, and with all tags attached.
    • Items must be returned in the original packaging, including any accessories, manuals, and documentation.
    • Items that are damaged, altered, or not in their original condition will not be eligible for a refund.
    • We do not accept returns on sale items; holiday items, custom/special orders, any service-related charges (delivery, planting, assembly, stacking, and any others), or warranty. When you place a special order in-store or over the phone, we recommend discussing the return policy of the special order with our sales associate.
  • Customer Responsibility for Return Shipping Costs
    • Customers are responsible for paying the shipping costs associated with returning any items. Shipping costs are non-refundable.
  • Restocking Fee
    • A restocking fee of 10% will be deducted from your refund for all returned items. This fee covers the cost of processing the return and restocking the item.
  • Drop Ship Returns
    • We do not accept returns for drop-shipped items sent directly from our vendors. Drop ship items are indicated on our online product page. When you place a special order in-store or over the phone, we recommend discussing the return policy of the special order with our sales associate.
  • Processing Time for Refund
    • Once your return is received and inspected, we will process your refund within 5 business days. The refund will be issued to the original payment method used for the purchase. Please note that it may take additional time for the refund to appear on your statement depending on your bank or credit card issuer.
