Adrian's Compact Japanese Maple is primarily valued in the landscape or garden for its interestingly mounded form. It has attractive burgundy deciduous foliage which emerges scarlet in spring. The lobed palmate leaves are highly ornamental and turn outstanding shades of orange and scarlet in the fall. The rough brick red bark adds an interesting dimension to the landscape.
