This tea is decaffeinated using natural carbon dioxide (CO2) treatment. This process is the best for retaining flavor. Under federal regulations in the United States, caffeine levels must not be above 2.5 percent of the product in order for a product to be labeled “decaffeinated.†The caffeine content in Decaf Breakfast is less than 0.4 percent.
