Shortbeak Sedge is primarily valued in the garden for its interestingly mounded form. It features airy spikes of chartreuse flowers rising above the foliage in mid spring. Its attractive grassy leaves remain forest green in color throughout the season.

Wine & Spirits® Weigela features showy clusters of white trumpet-shaped flowers along the branches from late spring to early summer, which emerge from distinctive light green flower buds. It has attractive burgundy-variegated dark green foliage. The pointy leaves are highly ornamental and turn an outstanding deep purple in the fall.
