An impressive variety that forms a low mounded shrub with deep dark foliage that doesn't fade to green. Hot pink trumpet-shaped flowers attract hummingbirds in spring. It's very showy and is perfect for the mixed garden border. The showy clusters of hot pink trumpet-shaped flowers feature buttery yellow anthers along the branches from late spring to early summer. It has attractive dark red foliage throughout the season. The pointy leaves are highly ornamental and turn an outstanding burgundy in the fall.
