Seed Savers Hungarian Yellow Wax Sweet Pepper

This productive pepper delivers a deliciously sweet, yet ever so slightly hot, flavor. Plants grow 18 to 30” tall, making them ideal for almost any garden space, from small raised beds to full plots. Banana-shaped, 6”-long peppers have waxy flesh ideal for pickling, stuffing, grilling, and adding to salads and sandwiches. While these peppers are most often harvested when they are yellow, they are sweetest when allowed to mature fully to red.

Growing Instructions: Peppers love heat! They do best when started indoors and transplanted outdoors when the soil is warm.

• Start Indoors: 8 weeks before the last frost
• Sow seeds ¼” deep. Peppers germinate best in warm soil, so gentle bottom heat may be helpful until seedlings emerge.
• Germination: 14 days.
• Plant Outdoors: 12” to 24” when the soil is warm
