Sedum ‘John Creech’ is a tough, low-growing stonecrop that forms a tidy mat of scalloped, jade-green rosettes just a few inches tall. In late summer and fall, it’s blanketed in clusters of starry rose-pink flowers that butterflies and other pollinators adore. Thriving in full sun and dry, lean soil, it’s wonderfully drought tolerant once established and rarely bothered by deer, rabbits, or disease. Its dense, spreading habit makes it an excellent groundcover for edging, rock gardens, and the front of sunny borders. It even softens stone walls and tucks neatly between pavers. Easygoing and reliable, it delivers color right when many other plants are winding down.
