Snow Pavement is a low, spreading rugosa rose that opens lilac-tinged buds into soft, near-white semi-double blooms with a rich clove perfume. Part of the tough Pavement series, it’s exceptionally hardy and resistant to salt, deer, rabbits, insects, and disease. The crinkled, healthy foliage forms a dense mound, and red hips follow the flowers in fall. Plant it in full sun, where it reaches two to three feet and makes an excellent low hedge or groundcover. It flowers generously from summer into fall with almost no care. For fragrant, carefree bloom on a rugged plant, Snow Pavement delivers.
