This Dawn Redwood variety has irregularly weeping branches and fine-textured, needle-like soft green foliage that changes to a russet orange color in fall. Peeling reddish bark is especially noticeable in the drab winter months. Will look its best if grown in full sun and consistently moist soil. Makes a unique focal point near the patio or in front of the house.
