Also known as Eastern White Pine, this highly attractive columnar tree has silky smooth long needles which give a fuzzy appearance from a distance. It is known to attract birds to your yard. It grows at a fast rate, and under ideal conditions can be expected to live to a ripe old age of 100 years or more. Give it some shelter as it will sometimes get windburn in exposed locations.
