Monstera deliciosa is native to tropical rainforests of southern Mexico. Outdoors, the Monstera deliciosa produces edible fruit, however, it is extremely rare that it will indoors. Depending on the cultivar, they can grow up to 3 feet wide. One of the easiest to care for, they will tolerate and almost thrive in any type of indirect light condition and prefer to be on the moist and humid side. They make a striking addition to any house by adding rich shiny green foliage. Note: the Monstera deliciosa is classified as poisonous, so keep away from small children and animals.
