Lilyturf, Royal Purple

Royal Purple Lilyturf brings rich, vivid purple flower spikes above dense, dark green evergreen foliage in summer and fall, adding color to shaded spots where few flowering plants perform. The deep purple flowers contrast beautifully with the lush, strappy foliage, creating a refined, elegant look for borders and ground cover plantings beneath trees. Growing 12 to 18 inches in a compact clump, it works well as an edging plant, mass planting, or accent in challenging shaded areas. Deer and rabbit resistant, and notably tolerant of Juglone from black walnut trees, it requires very little maintenance once established. The dark berries that follow the flowers attract birds through fall and winter.
