Outdoor Plant Size: 2-gallon pot

Prince of Wales is a ground-hugging juniper that spreads into a dense, emerald-green carpet just inches above the soil. Its soft, scale-like foliage takes on a subtle plum tint as winter approaches, adding quiet color to the cold-season garden. Built for tough spots, it thrives in full sun and poor, dry ground, holding banks and edging beds where little else will grow. Once established it is exceptionally drought tolerant, and deer, rabbits, pests, and disease rarely trouble it. Birds find welcome cover among its trailing branches. Use it to soften walls, blanket slopes, or knit together a low-maintenance evergreen planting.

Mature Height: <12"

Mature Spread: 5' - 8'

Sunlight Exposure: Sun

Water Needs: Low
