Arborvitae, Western Whipcord
Thuja occidentalis

Unit price perBack for the 2026 season.
Unlike any other arborvitae! As the name suggests Whipcord's long, swaying green tendrils of foliage look like cords. The foliage displays a bronze cast in the winter. Grows slowly into a rounded form and makes a delightful conversation piece in the rock garden or near the patio. Does best with protection from harsh winter winds. Not fussy about soil as long as it's not soggy. Best yet, deer seem to dislike the foliage!
