Hidcote Blue Lavender has masses of beautiful spikes of fragrant powder blue flowers rising above the foliage from early to late summer, which are most effective when planted in groupings. The flowers are excellent for cutting. It has attractive bluish-green evergreen foliage. The fragrant needles are highly ornamental and remain bluish-green throughout the winter. Cut back the flower stalks after they have finished, and then trim back plants in April, to keep them neat and bushy.
