Bachelor's button, also known as "cornflower", is drought tolerant and needs a little pampering. Flowers are great for cutting or drying and the edible petals are beautifully sprinkled on a salad. Bachelor's button will "naturalize"; it self-sows for another crop of flowers the following season, and birds love the seed heads! Attracts pollinators and beneficial insects.
