An exceptional hybrid tea rose that presents its brilliant, reddest of red long stemmed blooms all season long; a dramatic addition to the garden that is very disease resistant; the blooms are long-lived as cut flowers as well
Oranges 'n' Lemons features showy lightly-scented orange flowers with lemon yellow stripes at the ends of the branches from late spring to mid fall. The flowers are excellent for cutting. It has dark green deciduous foliage which emerges dark red in spring. The glossy oval compound leaves do not develop any appreciable fall color.
An uplifting rose bearing unusual open cupped flowers of soft yellow, paling to cream. The scallop-shaped, incurved petals are loosely yet generously assembled around a central boss of golden stamens, creating a soft, airy appearance. Known as the thornless rose, Zéphirine Drouhin remains as popular today as in the late 1800s as a landscape ornamental or cut flower. This Bourbon climber flushes with large, double blossoms throughout the season. It is one of the few roses that will tolerate moderate to deeper shade. It is best to cut the blossoms for indoor enjoyment of the strong damask fragrance and encourage re-bloom.
