Donald Wyman Flowering Crabapple is bathed in stunning clusters of fragrant white flowers along the branches in mid spring, which emerge from distinctive cherry red flower buds before the leaves. The fruits are showy red pomes carried in abundance from early fall to late winter. It has dark green deciduous foliage. The pointy leaves turn yellow in fall.

The Goldenrain Tree is a delightful summer-flowering shade tree, cloaked in large, airy clusters of bright yellow flowers when few other trees bloom. The blossoms give way to ornamental, papery lantern-shaped seed pods that extend the show into fall, when the foliage turns warm yellow. Its rounded, spreading canopy casts pleasant shade over patios and lawns. Plant it in full sun, where this tough, adaptable tree tolerates heat, drought, and poor soils. Its mid-summer color and unique pods make it a standout. For dependable summer flowers and easy care, the Goldenrain Tree is a joy.
