A popular hybrid of the silver and red maples with good branching and a consistent and upright oval shape. It's fall coloration is rather distinctive, with red patches appearing among green leaves, eventually with a mix of yellow, red and orange. Grows very fast. This maple is quite adaptive and has been known to thrive in urban environments.
