Little-known, but delightful, Dwarf Betony is a fantastic addition to the front of the border, rock gardens or containers. Shiny, dark green leaves with serrated edges grow in a dense rosette. Showy, chubby spikes of vivid rosy purple flowers rise on stems 4-6" above the foliage in June through July. Easy to grow, just be careful not to overwater.
