Calypso brings easygoing charm to the garden as part of the hardy, own-root Easy Elegance series. Its warm, ruffled blooms open in generous flushes through summer on a bushy, upright plant. Plant it in full sun, where it reaches three to five feet and resists deer, rabbits, and disease with little care. Bred for northern toughness, it needs no special pruning or spraying to thrive. The cheerful flowers are lovely in a border or low hedge. For dependable color without the work, Calypso lives up to the Easy Elegance name.
