Fantastic Dwarf Redtwig Dogwood is ideal for smaller gardens. Compact and tidy, growing just half the size of typical redtwig. Clusters of creamy white spring flowers are followed by bluish white fruit that birds relish. Oval leaves turn a burgundy color in fall. Winter stems are vivid red. Young stems have the best color so it's best to occasionally remove older, thicker branches. Excellent in foundation plantings or massed in the shrub border, especially with an evergreen backdrop, for the winter stem color. Also makes a wonderful natural hedge. This plant is also easy to care for.
