Purple Fountain Beech is primarily valued in the landscape for its rigidly columnar form. It has attractive deep purple deciduous foliage which emerges burgundy in spring. The serrated pointy leaves are highly ornamental and turn an outstanding coppery-bronze in the fall. The smooth silver bark is extremely showy and adds significant winter interest.

If a tree or shrub purchased from Chalet dies within a year of planting, you are eligible to receive a Chalet plant warranty. Specifically:

If planted by yourself: 50% of the plant's purchase amount in the form of plant replacement.
If planted by Chalet: 100% of the plant's purchase amount in the form of plant replacement, along with free replanting.

The warranty pertains to a one-time replacement and requires proof of purchase issued by Chalet.
