Fire Chief is an almost perfectly globe-shaped evergreen shrub with fine-textured, bright gold spring foliage that becomes flushed deep red in fall. This sport of the popular Rheingold has deeper color and is less prone to splitting. Slow growing, and needs no pruning to maintain its round shape. Perfect for grouping in the home foundation or featured as a rock garden specimen. Best given some protection from winter wind. May need protection from deer.

If a tree or shrub purchased from Chalet dies within a year of planting, you are eligible to receive:

If planted by yourself: 50% of the plant's purchase amount in the form of plant replacement.
If planted by Chalet: 100% of the plant's purchase amount in the form of plant replacement, along with free replanting.

The warranty pertains to a one-time replacement and requires proof of purchase issued by Chalet.
