Double Play® Gold Spirea features showy clusters of hot pink flowers at the ends of the branches from late spring to early summer, which emerge from distinctive brick red flower buds. It has attractive gold foliage with hints of chartreuse which emerges yellow in spring. The small serrated pointy leaves are highly ornamental and turn an outstanding coppery-bronze in the fall.
