Delightful Dwarf Goat's Beard makes a wonderful addition to the front of the border and woodland gardens. Combines well with Bishop's Hat (Epimedium), Siberian bugloss (Brunnera) and smaller Hosta. Ferny, fine-textured light green leaves, turning golden orange in fall, form a perfectly round mound. Short, creamy white flower spikes on slender stems rise above the leaves in June. Can be used as a substitute for Astilbe in drier areas.
