Sanseveria Starfish is native to regions of West Africa including Nigeria and the Congo. It actually is closely related to Asparagus but not edible. N.A.S.A lists this plant as air purifying, removing toxins such as benzene and formaldehyde. Depending on the cultivar, they can grow anywhere from eight inches tall to several feet or more and come in many shapes, sizes and color patterns. One of the easiest to care for, they will tolerate and almost thrive in any type of light condition and prefer to be on the drier side. Perfect in the home environment and great for anyone from the beginner to anyone who has a love of plants.

Light: Can survive in low to moderate indirect light, making them suitable for offices or rooms with minimal sunlight.
Water: Allow soil to dry out almost completely between waterings. Low-light plants often require less frequent watering.
Humidity: Low to moderate humidity (30-50%) is sufficient.
Temperature: 60-75°F. Adaptable to lower temperatures, but avoid frost.
Soil: Use a well-draining indoor potting mix.
Fertilizer: Fertilize sparingly, about once every 1-2 months during the growing season
