A complete mixture of species and forms. If you can only plant one packet of sunflower seeds, this would be the one! An extended bloom period provides a nice supply of flowers for cutting from July until frost. For longer-lasting bouquets, be sure to pick heads that are just about to open. Persian Carpet, also called Mexican zinnia or narrow-leaved zinnia, is a reliable choice for beds, borders, and containers. Garlic chives are a versatile herb used widely in Asian cooking. When young, leaves and flower buds have a delicate aroma and a garlic flavor with hints of honey and onion.
