Forest Rouge™ Blackhaw Viburnum Tree is a trademarked selection made by Dan Moore, right here at McKay Nursery. Grown multi-stem or single, with a dense, more oval, upright branching form than the species. The foliage emerges yellow-green and ages to dark, shiny green. The stems have dark red color on the new growth. Flat-topped clusters of creamy-white flowers appear in mid-May, followed by blue-black fruit which can persist nicely. Named for its fall color, it is an outstanding maroon.
