Yellowtwig Dogwood is a multi-season native shrub with year-round appeal, offering something beautiful in every month — white flower clusters in spring, lush green foliage in summer, golden fall color, and brilliant bright yellow stems that glow through the winter garden when color is most welcome. Growing 5–9 feet tall and wide in a graceful mounding form, it’s ideal for shrub borders, mass plantings, and naturalized areas in sun to partial shade. Birds are drawn to the small white ornamental fruit through summer and fall, and the vivid yellow stems are especially striking when cut for winter arrangements. Native to the Great Lakes region, resistant to deer and disease, and tolerant of Black Walnut, erosion, and cold, it’s one of the most adaptable and hardworking native shrubs available. A beautiful four-season investment for any landscape.
