Barberry ‘Rose Glow’ is one of the most distinctive colored-foliage shrubs for the landscape, producing eye-catching rose-pink and dark burgundy mottled leaves that create a living tapestry of color through the growing season. New growth emerges with the brightest rose and pink tones before maturing to deeper red-burgundy, and fall brings a richer transition into crimson and copper. Deer and rabbit resistant with minimal care requirements, it thrives in full sun and poor, dry soils, making it useful for tough sites as well as ornamental borders and hedges. The subtle yellow spring flowers are followed by small red berries that birds seek out in winter.
