Cannon's Double Azalea is covered in stunning clusters of lightly-scented double white trumpet-shaped flowers with yellow throats and rose edges at the ends of the branches in mid spring, which emerge from distinctive red flower buds before the leaves. It has burgundy-tipped dark green foliage. The glossy narrow leaves do not develop any appreciable fall color.
