The large white trumpet-shaped flowers of Easter lily, Lilium longiflorum, are a tradition at this time of year. These plants are forced to bloom at the appropriate time for the religious holiday, completely out of their normal flowering time.

Light: Bright, indirect light for most flowering plants
Water: Keep soil evenly moist during flowering, but allow the top inch to dry between waterings.
Humidity: Prefer higher humidity (50-60%). Mist occasionally to boost humidity.
Temperature: 65-75°F, avoid drafts and sudden temperature changes.
Soil: Well-draining potting mix (may vary depending on species).
Fertilizer: Use a high-phosphorus fertilizer during the flowering season for better blooms
