Planting

Location:

Choose a location that receives full to partial sunlight, ideally 6 hours of direct sunlight daily. Ensure the soil is well-drained and rich in organic matter to support healthy growth.

Spacing:

Space these shrubs approximately 4 to 5 feet apart to ensure adequate air circulation and promote healthy growth.

Watering

Water it consistently, ensuring the soil remains moist but not soggy, particularly during dry spells, to support its growth and flower development.

Fertilizing

Fertilize your Hydrangea with a balanced, slow-release fertilizer in early spring to support robust growth and abundant blooms.

Pruning

Prune to 6 to 12" above the ground in late winter or early spring before new growth begins to maintain its shape and promote vigorous blooming.

Mulching

Apply a 2-3 inch layer of organic mulch around the base of these blooms in early spring to retain moisture and suppress weeds.
