Planting

Location:

Choose a site with full sun exposure and well-drained soil for optimal growth of this perennial. Ensure that it is located in a space that allows for good air circulation to prevent fungal issues.

Spacing:

Space this perennial 12 to 18 inches apart to ensure adequate air circulation and promote healthy growth.

Watering

Water this perennial deeply and infrequently, allowing the soil to dry out between waterings to promote strong root development and prevent root rot.

Fertilizing

Fertilize it with a balanced, slow-release fertilizer in early spring to support vigorous growth and abundant blooms.

Pruning

Prune this perennial in late fall after the foliage has died back to promote healthy growth in the following season.

Mulching

Apply a 2-3 inch layer of organic mulch around the base of the plant in early spring to retain moisture, suppress weeds, and maintain soil temperature.
