A true easy-care groundcover rose, it’s self-cleaning and needs no fancy pruning or deadheading to look its best. Plant it in full sun, where its low, spreading form reaches twelve to eighteen inches and resists disease all season. Glossy green foliage sets off the vivid flowers, and red hips follow in late fall. It’s ideal for massing along borders and banks, or for spilling from decorative pots. For carefree red groundcover, Flower Carpet Red is a workhorse.
