Parlor Palms are native to subtropical and tropical regions of the Americas. Although they are in the same family as coconuts and dates, which produce edible fruit from flowers at the top of the plant, ¬ ¨â€šÃ„†the Parlor Palm ¬ ¨â€šÃ„†produces inedible fruit from flowers at the base of the plant. Cultivated since the Victorian era, this species of palm is prized for its resilience to indoor conditions and reliable habit.

Light: Can survive in low to moderate indirect light, making them suitable for offices or rooms with minimal sunlight.
Water: Allow soil to dry out almost completely between waterings. Low-light plants often require less frequent watering.
Humidity: Low to moderate humidity (30-50%) is sufficient.
Temperature: 60-75°F. Adaptable to lower temperatures, but avoid frost.
Soil: Use a well-draining indoor potting mix.
Fertilizer: Fertilize sparingly, about once every 1-2 months during the growing season
