Tristan Strawberry is a perennial that is commonly grown for its edible qualities, although it does have ornamental merits as well. It produces red heart-shaped berries which are usually ready for picking from late spring to early fall. This variety is considered an everbearing type of strawberry, which means that it will repeatedly produce fruit across most of the season. The berries have a sweet taste and a firm texture.
