Even cats need their greens! This organic barley, oats, and wheat blend is rich in antioxidants, vitamins, minerals, and amino acids. Not only does cat grass help in digestion by moving the hairballs along, but it gives them a shiny coat and freshens breath! Because it's grown indoors, cat grass can be served year-round at its peak of freshness. The grass is ready to eat in as little as 2 weeks! Safe for dogs, too!

Unit price perThere is nothing like the aroma of basil! Basil microgreens have a milder flavor than full grown, so more is more with these little guys. Basil microgreens can be grown indoors at any time of year and are a nutrient-packed way to get your "green fix" in the dead of winter. Move containers as needed for best light exposure and temperature (65°-75°F). Basil microgreens are ready to harvest in about 16 to 25 days after sowing, when they have cotyledons (first leaves), or when the first true leaves (second set of leaves) have begun to form, depending on preference.
Mix includes: 90% Genovese basil and 10% Dark Opal basil

Unit price perA renowned farm-to-table chef and a Cornell breeder worked for 6 years, crossing the flavorful, savory butternut with the sweet buttercup, to create this more manageable, 4"–5" butternut. The thin, edible skin signals ripeness by turning from green to terracotta, either on or off the plant. Compact vines are great for containers or trellises. Plants are resistant to powdery mildew and squash vine borers. Stores up to 6 months.

Unit price perBotanical Interests Chinese Broccoli/Kallaan Seeds
$2.69
Unit price perChinese broccoli, also called Chinese kale or gai lan, is widely used in Asian cuisine. The florets can be substituted for regular broccoli in many recipes. The leaves and juicy stems have a more complex flavor, sweet yet slightly bitter. Chinese broccoli is easy to grow and will tolerate heat better than many broccoli and kale varieties, so the harvest period is longer; expect lots of side shoots after the first harvest. High in calcium, iron, and vitamins A and C. Very popular for stir-fry dishes; it can also be steamed or boiled. For a gourmet treat, lightly sauté the thinned seedlings!
When to Sow Outside: RECOMMENDED. 1 to 2 weeks before your average last frost date. Also, in late summer or winter for cool-season harvest. Mild Climates: Sow in fall or winter for a cool-season harvest. Optimal soil temperature for germination is 60°–85°F.
When to Start Inside: Not recommended; transplants tend to bolt (prematurely flower).
Days to Emerge: 10–20 days
Seed Depth: ½"
Seed Spacing: A group of 3 seeds every 8"–10"
Row Spacing: 18"–24"
Thinning: When 2" tall, thin to 1 every 8" – 10"
