Peperomia is a large plant family, originating in the rain forests of Central and South America. Overall, Peperomias are small, slow-growing, semi-succulent, compact plants great for tight spaces and ideal for table tops, desks, coffee tables, window sills and terrariums. They are easy to care for and do not occupy a lot of room. They are popular due not only to ease of care but also the many cultivars offering a wide range of colors, shapes and sizes. They prefer to be moist to slightly dry and thrive in most light conditions but prefer medium to bright light. This is a great plant selection for a beginner or novice.

Plants are constantly growing, ever-changing, and therefore unique. The plant you see in the photo is an example of the plant you will receive.

Light: Needs bright but filtered light; avoid direct sun as it can scorch leaves.
Water: Keep soil evenly moist but not waterlogged. Allow the top 1-2 inches to dry out before watering.
Humidity: Prefers moderate to high humidity (50-60%). Use a table top humidifier or a pebble tray.
Temperature: 65-75°F. Keep away from cold drafts and heating vents.
Soil: Use a well-draining indoor potting mix.
Fertilizer: Feed monthly during the growing season with a balanced, water-soluble fertilizer.
