Unit price / perNative to the Far East, this plant is not actually a palm, but a Cycad, a living fossil dating back 200 million years. The stem or trunk of the Sago palm resembles a pineapple which supports rosettes of dark emerald-green plastic-like leaves. It has a very architectural and unique appearance that goes with any decor' style but especially modern.

Light: Bright, indirect light is best. Some tolerate partial shade.
Water: Soak in room temperature water for 20-30 minutes once a week. Mist between soakings in dry conditions.
Humidity: Prefers 50-60% humidity. Increase humidity with misting if needed.
Temperature: 60-80°F is ideal. Protect from cold drafts and extreme heat.
Fertilizer: Fertilize monthly with a diluted air plant-specific or bromeliad fertilizer.
Soil: No soil needed. Can be mounted on wood, shells, or other decorative objects.
