Home to Lincoln Park Zoo and DePaul University, Lincoln Park is a bucolic family neighborhood where dogs and children roam. Named in honor of Abraham Lincoln, the land was, up until 1860, home to a 60-acre cemetery, which later became a beautiful 1,200 acre public park designed by Frederick Law Olmsted. Today, the neighborhood boasts of boutiques, fine dining, and theaters, and if you look hard enough, you’ll spot the historic homes and mansions tucked away behind manicured hedges.
