Ethel’s Paradise ‘Kalapana’ is a compact cattleya hybrid with bi-colored white and pink flowers with a deep pink lip. The highly fragrant flowers are about 3” in diameter and are borne on spikes producing four or more blossoms during the fall and winter blooming season. Flowers last about 3 weeks.

Light: Bright, indirect light, avoid direct sunlight. Phalaenopsis thrive in east-facing windows.
Water: Water weekly; allow the roots to dry between waterings. Use room temperature, non-chlorinated water.
Humidity: High humidity (50-70%) is ideal. Mist daily or use a humidity tray.
Temperature: 65-80°F during the day, 60-70°F at night. Avoid drafts.
Fertilizer: Fertilize bi-weekly during the growing season with a balanced orchid fertilizer.
Soil: Use a well-draining orchid bark mix.
