Moisture-loving Spiderwort is ideal for adding spring color to wetter spots in woodland and native gardens. Strappy, narrow dark green leaves form a spreading mass. Deep violet blue flowers open one at a time from clusters at the top of the foliage late May through early July. Appreciates compost-rich, constantly moist soil to look its best, but if needed, can be cut back after flowering to rejuvenate.
