Lemon Drop Amsonia is named for its lemon-yellow fall foliage and not for the color of its flowers, which are steel blue. The foliage ranges from threadlike to willow-like and looks attractive throughout the growing season with the bonus of good to outstanding yellow to gold fall color. Lemon Drop Amsonias are considered easy-to-grow, long-lived native perennials tolerant of many soil types.
