You'll be impressed with this high-yielding variety. These luscious tomatoes ripen to yellow-orange accented with hints of red that go through the solid, meaty interior of the fruit. Large, beefsteak type fruits don't have a lot of seeds but are filled with complex, low-acid tomato flavor with a hint of fruitiness that's just the right balance of sweet and tangy. Help ease the threat placed on Monarch populations. Monarch butterflies, with their strikingly streaked caterpillars, gold-foiled chrysalises, and tiger-striped wing patterns, are one of the most beloved of all butterflies. We humans flock to witness monarch migrations, but we are also responsible for their decline. Loss of habitat and exposure to pesticides threaten monarch populations from Canada to Mexico. Grow Milkweed, the monarch caterpillar's host plant, to create a monarch sanctuary in your own backyard. Create a companion planting of Butterfly Weed for very happy butterflies. 

With long, sturdy stems, these bright, 4"–6" flowers are great for colorful, long-lasting bouquets. Zinnias are a customer favorite and so easy to grow from seed. Once they begin to bloom, they bloom and bloom endlessly until frost! 'Giant Purple' is heat tolerant and disease resistant. Zinnias are edible, but have little flavor. The colorful flowers can make a pretty garnish to salads, desserts, cold drinks, or serving trays. (The flower's central disk, while edible, can be bitter.)

Moso bamboo, known as the giant bamboo or timber bamboo, has been used for centuries to fashion buildings, flooring and culinary tools. The young shoots are often prepared into asian dishes. We used this beautiful and renewable plant to create our Moso Bamboo Soap Shelf. Place in an area where it can drain or elevate to keep out of standing water. It will need replacement with time. Each soap dish typically lasts several months but this will vary depending on your placement, if you allow it to sit in water and your climate and humidity. Bamboo naturally biodegrades and this item can be composted at end of life. Due to the natural bamboo, there may be slight variations in color, texture and size.

The dark-green, toothed leaves of this mint species are used for making tea and cocktails, flavoring candies and desserts, and adding fragrance to lotions and tinctures.

Jan Suchomel of Van Horne, Iowa, discovered this poppy growing in the backyard garden when she moved to Van Horne from Cedar Rapids in 1967 and proceeded, over the next three decades, to give its seeds to all her family members. She was so taken with the flower that she even planted some of its seeds at the senior complex she moved to in 2003 so that she could continue to enjoy its colorful blooms. All plant parts except the seeds are toxic.

An important prairie legume that fixes nitrogen in the soil. Grows 1-3' tall on most well-drained soils ranging from dry sand to clay.

Growing Instructions: Sow seeds indoors just beneath surface of soil. Transplant outdoors no later than August 1 to ensure good root development. Also easy to grow when direct seeded into a weed- free seedbed in mid-spring to early summer. Very drought tolerant once established.

Bred at the University of New Hampshire by the late Professor Elwyn Meader. Introduced by the Billy Hepler Seed Company in 1957. Distinctive purple foliage and purple flowers. Bright purple, stringless, slightly curved 5" pods turn green when cooked. Germinates well even in cold wet soil.

Ming Aralia is a great houseplant and are exacting in their care needs. It's foliage is lacey and adds a great structural element to any home or office location. It tends to be upright in nature and makes a great floor plant. They prefer medium to bright light, and higher humidity but like to be on the drier side and must have good drainage. It is recommended that this plant be treated regularly for spider mites as a preventative measure as this is a common pest. Aralias are one of the air purifiers removing harmful airborne toxins from the home atmosphere. A great addition to any home, office or living space.
