This self-pollinating Bushel and Berry blueberry is wonderful in containers! Small, dark blue berries with a wild blueberry-like flavor ripen in July. Incredibly glossy foliage is a riot of reds, purples and yellows in fall. Blueberries require acidic, well-drained soil and full sun for best performance. For heavier clay soils, the addition of soil sulfur helps to lower the pH while shredded pine or pine fines will improve aeration and drainage. For even more fruit plant a different blueberry variety nearby for cross-pollination.
